Panzer IV 5/12/2020 - Week 2 Blocking out (Production)                                                                Starting blocking out the parts of the tank like the turret, main body, barrel, trucks and wheels. At this point, I am finished blocking out the tank and the size ratio also you can see how the tank looks near a life-sized human. S tarting on making the tracks by making two objects one for the form for the tracks and another one for the bumps that hit the floor. For the bumps as there are a lot of them, I could have placed them  individually  but that would have wasted time. So I used a tool in Maya called Mash network that makes it easier to duplicates the mesh you select and will give you a lot of freedom. There are nodes you can use with it and I choose two nodes.   Panzer IV For this project, I will be developing one industry-ready showreel that shows a good understanding of advanced computer gaphics techniques. I will be making a Panzer IV that will be ready for in-game engine. This will include research and analysis of: hard surface modelling, texturing, an asset that will be ready for in-game uses, and make an asset as close to real-life as possible. As well as the pipeline steps associated with these procedures. Keep track of progress with an ongoing online blog recording new learnings and current status once a week. 16/11/2020 - Week 1 (Pre-production) Research about the Panzer VI How the tanks work in the game of world of tanks:  https://gamemodels3d.com/games/worldoftanks/vehicles/g67 This week I did some research about the tank like how big a Panzer Iv is and parts that make a Panzer IV tank and what a 360 overview of it as well.   Using the Battlefield V Panzer VI tank model for the game as a reference to how a tank will look in a game
